KUALA LUMPUR: It’s a personal achievement for popular singer Misha Omar when tickets to her Aug 5 solo concert at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas (DFP) were snapped up within 18 hours.
Tickets for This Is Misha – ‘Live’ At DFP are priced at RM199 and RM399. Open for sale on May 2, the hall has the capacity of 920 seats.
The 37-year-old winner for Best Vocal at the recent Anugerah Juara Lagu ke-33 (AJL33), said: “Singers rely a lot on ticket sales and knowing that they’ve all have been snapped up, makes me feel extremely blessed.”
Expressing her gratitude over the positive response towards her big-scale concert, she said that her sister Mimi who is also her manager and her were rendered speechless, overwhelmed by the news on how quick the tickets were flying off the shelves.
“When tickets are sold that quick, it shows fans’ confidence in me.
“With all tickets sold, one part of the concert is settled. My next task select the songs to be included in my repertoire,” said Misha in a recent news report.
At the same time, the Bunga-Bunga Cinta, Pulangkan and Sampai Bila hitmaker said it was important for her to be in top form for the concert since this would be a solo performance.
