#Showbiz: Boyzone bids its final farewell to Malaysian fans

SHAH ALAM: Irish band Boyzone bade adieu to some 5,000 fans who attended its “Thank You & Goodnight Farewell Tour 2019” concert at Stadium Malawati here last night.

Its members Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Michael Graham and Shane Lynch performed more than 20 of their hits from their 26 years in show business.

Among them were Isn't It A Wonder, You Needed Me and Picture Of You.

The band also paid a glowing tribute to Stephen Gately, their fifth member who passed away in 2009.

“Not a day goes by without us remembering him,” said Keating before they sang a number which also featured Gately’s vocals.

The concert which began at 8.30pm saw former Westlife member Brian McFadden as the opening act. He performed seven of Westlife’s hits which included When You’re Looking Like That, Mandy and Swear It Again.

The concert was organised by Wowstar Creative Entertainment; with J Starlux and ACO Media as co-organisers.
