KUALA LUMPUR: International K-Pop sensation BTS has made its debut in this year’s annual Celebrity 100 list by Forbes.

According to Koreaboo, the popular American business magazine released its 2019 list yesterday which included musicians, actors, athletes and personalities.

The seven-member South Korean music group came in at No. 43 on the list with a whopping amount of USD57 million about RM235 million) in pre-tax income over the last year.

This makes BTS the highest-paid K-Pop act and the only Korean artiste to be featured on Forbes’ famous list.

The K-Pop group’s first six shows under its Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour had collected USD44 million (around RM181.4 million) with close to 300,000 tickets sold.

This averages roughly to over USD7 million (approximately RM28.9 million) per night.
