KUALA LUMPUR: The fourth Malaysian Independent Live Fusion Festival (MILFF2019) is happening on Nov 23 at the StarXpo in Kenanga Wholesale City here.

Organised by Mojo Projects, the event promises top notch music, spectacular sound and lights and an awesome full scale concert experience featuring some of India’s best talent.

Malaysia's very own The Jagats, will open for India’s Nikhil Mathew, the first champion of Airtel Super Singer back in 2006.

Hailing from Kerala, Nikhil won a chance to sing a song for Indian music director, Harris Jayaraj, for the film Bheema. He has since recorded more than 30 songs for the film industry.

Look forward to an independent favourite, IndoSoul, featuring the jazzy Neha Venugopal. The band, which comprises musicians from different genres like rock and Carnatic, creates an accessible sound of experimentation and classical Indian music. The Chennai based five-piece band is led by frontman Karthick Iyer, who is the lead violinist and vocalist.

Also on the list is the versatile singer-songwriter and playback-singer, Shakthisree Gopalan, who will bring together her varied influences from different musical worlds for the first time. The experience is set to showcase the best of her crowd favourites from the Tamil film music and some of her independent original songs.

Vocal powerhouses Haricharan and Shweta Mohan are set to get listeners to party the night away through delicious renditions of sing-along chart toppers with Bennet and Band backing them up.

Haricharan who comes from a family of music connoisseurs, started learning Carnatic music at
