KUALA LUMPUR: With the government giving the green light for cinema operators to resume operations from July 1 onwards, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) has introduced its standard operating procedures and safety guidelines online to get movie fans excited again.
A post uploaded today on its official Facebook page read: "Are you ready to return to GSC? Check out the SOPs & Safety Guidelines we have for you!"
The entry was accompanied by a series of pictures that featured popular characters from the Boboiboy animated superhero franchise.
The various heroes were seen highlighting the various guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone wanting to enjoy the cinema experience again.
These included QR code scanning, filling in a log book and temperature checking by the staff.
The rest of the post read: "Special thanks to Animonsta Studios #Boboiboy for this collaboration! #GSCLoveYou3000 #StaySafe."
Netizens in general were mostly pleased and expressed their joy at the development.
Some were a little cautious though. One wrote: "SOP provided based on government consideration. Please do not do something stupid that will make GSC close the business again. Be a smart person, we are in 2020 peeps."
