KUALA LUMPUR: Comedian Nor Affendi a.k.a. Pak Lah Cecupak is suffering from stage 4 colon cancer, besides other chronic illnesses.
According to a recent video shared by fellow comedian Wahid of popular Senario group on his Instagram, Pak Lah currently has no source of income, and finds difficulty in paying for medical treatment.
"I'm appealing to everyone who is watching this video to make some contribution, whether it is RM10 or even RM1, so that we can together help ease the burden faced by Pak Lah and his family right now.
"Pak Lah used to entertain many of us when he and his group Cecupak was popular in 1990s, so for those who would like to assist, please do so. Please contribute any amount you can, and may God will repay your kindness and generosity," said Wahid in the video.
Meanwhile, in a news report yesterday, Pak Lah had been declared bankrupt.
His wife does not have other means of income since she is a fulltime housewife.
Besides Pak Lah, Cecupak's other members include Pak Jaih, Ucop, Ropie and Pian.
