KUALA LUMPUR: Pop king Datuk Jamal Abdillah is thrilled to welcome his newborn boy El Isaac Yamani or Zack (the namesake of the character he played in the 1984 hit film Azura).
The 61-year-old crooner said that his wife Datin Zai Izzati, 26, had given birth to Zack at about 4pm today at a private hospital in Ipoh, Perak.
"Both my wife and I are thrilled to become parents once again. To have another child at my age is an indescribable feeling," he said in a news report today.
Jamal said that that his wife was initially due for delivery on Nov 17, but seeing that she was already heavily pregnant, they had opted for a Caeserean section procedure today.
"It's 11.11.2020, a special date which is easy for us to remember. Zack's sister Azura's (Nur Azura Yamani) date of birth is 10.10. 2019," he said.
Jamal and Zai Izzati tied the knot on April 1, 2017.
He also has two other sons from his previous marriages — Osama Yamani, 18, and Ahmad Zaki Yamani, 13.
