KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Elyana Emrizal who is battling stage 4 cancer has been admitted to the hospital after she could no longer bear the recurring pain.
In a recent entry on her Instagram, the 34-year-old artiste shared a photo of her resting in bed at a hospital here.
"After a month of enduring much pain, so much so that it had rendered me sleepless, I have no choice but to admit myself to the hospital.
"I've just received some medications including painkillers and steroids. The nurses have also taken my blood to run some tests," said the singer of Kalis Rindu, adding that there would also be several other tests including one for Covid-19 infection and PET scan.
"I have done the ECG and echocardiogram tests this morning, and thanked God, there's nothing wrong with my heart," she wrote in an entry today.
In 2017, Elyana revealed that she was suffering from stage 4 lymphoma cancer.
In the comments section, her followers and fans wrote encouraging words and wished her well.
Among them was producer and actress Ziela Jalil who wrote: "May Allah ease your pain, dear sister."
