KUALA LUMPUR: Popular singer Naim Daniel is marking his first team-up with iconic hip-hop master Joe Flizzow, with the single Habis Sini.
A co-production of World Peace Entertainment and Def Jam Recordings, Habis Sini is an experimental song which combines hip-hop and pop music.
"I was thrilled when Joe agreed to do a collaboration with me. It is such an honour to work with him," said Naim in a recent statement.
"It has always been my dream to have a song that combines hip-hop and ballads."
Naim added that the song was produced during the Movement Control Order (MCO) last year, and was recorded during Ramadan within a day.
"Mas Dewanga and SonaOne both served as the producers and they, especially SonaOne, gave me fresh, new perspectives in music.
"Habis Sini describes how certain people spend their time undermining others, and tells listeners to stay away from such toxic folk," said Naim.
Habis Sini can now be streamed and downloaded from all digital platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and Joox.
Its music video was launched at 8pm on Feb 2 on the World Peace Entertainment YouTube channel.
