KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Hisyam Hamid has quashed rumours that he has divorced his wife Rosmawati Hanafi.
"Every month, there would be articles about my marriage being on the rocks. I think such rumours emerged when local entertainment fans are seeing less personal postings on my social media accounts.
"However, I'm still someone's husband," shared the 37-year-old actor, before adding that he had decided to share less of his personal life so that he and his family could keep some privacy.
He added that some netizens are too obsessed with celebrities' personal lives and it could easily lead to unnecessary controversies if public figures are not careful with what they share with their fans.
Hisyam shared this when asked by the media at the exclusive premier launch of Prime Video's First Amazon Original Series In Malaysia, 'That Cover Girl'.
Hisyam, is one of the lead actors in the six-episode drama series which was also filmed in Paris, France earlier this year.
The other lead players are Siti Saleha, Aiman Hakim Ridza and Alicia Amin.
'That Cover Girl' will be made available for streaming on the Prime Video app beginning tomorrow for viewers in Malaysia as well as 240 other territories worldwide.
