KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Amyza Adnan's husband Khairil Idzhar Md Nasir is in critical condition and has been medically induced at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Ampang Hospital.
In a Harian Metro report yesterday, Khairil Idzhar, 48, was rushed to the hospital on Monday, after he had breathing difficulty.
"He initially went to a clinic first, before the doctor treating him there contacted the emergency unit of the hospital," said Amyza in the report.
"After being warded in the Red Zone, the hospital informed me the following morning that he had to be induced."
She added that the doctors had also requested her to sign a permission letter allowing him to be put on dialysis as his kidneys were no longer functioning, and to avoid other complications.
Amyza hoped everybody would pray for her husband's recovery.
In Dec 2017, Khairil Idzhar had been treated at an ICU of a medical centre after he suffered a heart attack.
The couple married in 2003, and they have three children: Andre Mikhail, Adrian Adam, and Ayden Andika.
