KUALA LUMPUR: The Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim recently extended some assistance to the veteran actor Jalil Hamid, who is reportedly unwell.
In a recent Instagram post, Anwar shared photos of some of his officers who visited the 66-year-old artiste at his home.
"Yesterday, my political secretary, Farhan Fauzi, had the chance to pay Jalil Hamid a visit and presented him with some token on my behalf," wrote Anwar in the caption section.
"I also pray that my brother Jalil would always be granted health and strength by God Almighty," he said.
On March 7 last year, Jalil was diagnosed with a heart problem, after he was treated at the Serdang Hospital's Intensive Care Unit.
Since then, he has been losing his appetite and shed off 30kg.
