KUALA LUMPUR: Only three pairs have been selected to compete at the finale episode of the reality programme Famili Duo Season 3 (FD3) which is taking place next Sunday.
In a news report today, the programme's executive producer Muhamad Sufian Che Isa said only those three were selected at the semi-final episode, which went on air last Sunday.
Muhamad Sufian said throughout the past seven episodes, only those three pairs (out of six) had emerged as the weekly champions.
"The production team had also considered all of their performances before deciding this.
"It wouldn't be fair if the fourth pair was chosen, although they had never won any of the weekly challenges," he said.
The pairs who will be competing at the finals are siblings Syaiful and Sharif; cousins Haqiem Rusli and Ariff Bahran; and sisters Adira Suhaimi and Emma Suhaimi.
FD3 Finale Concert will take place on Dec 3, to be aired live on TV3 at 9pm.The champions will take home the cash prize of RM100,000.
