With more than 1.1 million followers on TikTok, content creator Arieff Effendy Yong or Arieff Yong is set to take on a new role with his golden voice.

The 29-year-old, who is from Kulai, Johor, begins his journey today as a radio announcer for English radio station Fly FM, which is owned by Media Prima Audio.

Listeners can catch Arieff on the morning show, 'The Jokers in the Morning', with partner-in-crime, Ryan Howlett, on weekdays, from 6am to 10am.

The former flight attendant, who lost his job during the Covid-19 pandemic, initially took to creating content online during the lockdown.
