#Showbiz: Marissa Dania gets 'pixelated' a week after Ruhainies

KUALA LUMPUR: A week after actress Ruhainies Zainul Ilyas had her face pixelated by a cosmetics brand in its advertisement, another controversial celebrity has received similar treatment.

Fashion brand Leeyanarahman pixelated the face of what seems to be social media influencer Marissa Dania Hakim on its TikTok Hari Raya wear advertisement yesterday.

But eagle-eyed netizens could easily identify her in the brief video which featured two other models.

Netizens who responded to the video said that even though Marissa's face had been censored, she could be identified by the dress that she wore.

"We saw an earlier video by the brand, about the making of this advertisement. That is clearly Marissa," said one netizen identified as Suhaili.

"Don't worry Marissa, we know who you are and you're doing a great job modelling Raya dresses," said another netizen Sham.

Ruhainies was caught for khalwat with Singaporean singer-actor Aliff Aziz at her condominium on March 8.

Marissa who is the 19-year-old daughter of actor Norman Hakim and actress Abby Abadi became the second wife of a 25-year-old man named Aslam after a secret wedding in Songkhla, Thailand last Dec 27.

Last September, Aslam's first wife Umisya Mazlan claimed that Marissa was the "third party" in their divorce.

Aslam and Umisya subsequently reconciled.

On March 8, Umisya's sister Nadiah slammed a fashion brand for being insensitive towards her, by having Marissa and Aslam model for Hari Raya fashion garments alongside her in an advertisement.

Marissa is the second of three children of Norman and Abby who were married between 2002 and 2009.
