#Showbiz: Adrian Teh's 'Reversi' to compete in Italy's Udine Far East Film Festival

KUALA LUMPUR: Adrian Teh is back with a new movie but this time it is not an action-packed one.

Known for his hit movies Paskal and Malbatt: Misi Bakara, Teh, 39, has come up with Reversi, his first big-screen drama.

Best of all it has been selected for competition at the 26th Udine Far East Film Festival in Italy from April 24 to May 2.

In a statement yesterday, Teh said: "It is an honour to represent Malaysia once again at this year's edition of the film festival. Reversi is a new genre for me and I am fortunate to collaborate with an amazing cast and crew."

Teh added: "This movie is about love, loss, and second chances. I look forward to sharing it with Malaysians and the world and hope that it will inspire us to cherish our loved ones."

The movie tells the story of a husband's undying love for his wife and son, who goes to great lengths to correct his past for a better future.

It stars Beto Kusyairy, Shiqin Kamal, Vanidah Imran and Hasnul Rahmat.

In 2022, Teh's The Assistant also competed and premiered at the festival.

Reversi will be released in Malaysia later this year.
