KUALA LUMPUR: A taxi driver is believed to have committed suicide in a vehicle near Arkib Negara, here, yesterday.
In the 5.50pm incident, a police patrol car was deployed to the area after they were alerted by a passer-by who was concerned about the man.
Sentul police chief Assistant Commissioner R. Munusamy said the 63-year-old-man was found with the seat reclined.
"He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical officers," he said.
Munusamy said preliminary investigation revealed there was a hose connected from the car's exhaust into the car.
The body was sent to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post-mortem.
Police were still investigating the motive behind the case.
