SRI AMAN: A coal mine explosion in Silantek Quarry, here, killed three foreigners and left 11 injured.
The foreign nationals were identified as a Korean, Myanmar and Indonesian. Initial investigation showed that the explosion took place 150 meters underground and no one was trapped in the mine.
The Fire and Rescue Department personnel are still on site to secure the quarry.
