SLIM RIVER: Two people were seriously injured while 12 others escaped unhurt in a nine-vehicle pile-up near here this morning.
The 6.03am incident, along Km365.9 south-bound of the North South Expressway, involved a trailer, three 10-tonne lorries and five cars.
The seriously injured were a man and a woman. Their identities have yet to be ascertained.
According the state Fire and Rescue Department, the incident is believed to have been caused by an oil spill.
The operation completed about 7.45am.
