KUALA TERENGGANU: Another 99 people from eight families were moved to a relief centre this afternoon.
As at 12.30pm today, a total of 4,308 victims of 1,174 families were seeking shelters at 84 evacuation centres throughout the state.
State Welfare Department portal recorded that in Dungun, 518 people from 148 families evacuated to 11 relief centres.
In Kemaman 949 victims from 262 families were moved from their homes to 20 relief centres.
The portal also said that in Hulu Terengganu, 27 relief centres were opened to house 1,261 victims from 381 families.
In Setiu, 413 people from 101 fmilies sought shelter at 10 relief centres while Besut saw more evacuees moved to relief centres with 1,167 people from 285 families at 15 centres.
