KUALA LUMPUR: Residents living around Sungai Pahang, Sungai Perak and Sungai Plus in Kampung Lintang, Kuala Kangsar, Perak are advised to stay alert as the river levels have exceeded the danger level.
National Security Council in a Facebook posting today said heavy rain that hit all three areas today had caused the increase, exceeding the warning level.
As at 7pm, water level at Sungai Perak near Jam Iskandar was recorded at 35.71 metres.
Meanwhile water level in Sungai Pahang near Paloh Inai was recorded at 10.60 metres.
