Tickets sold out by noon for JDT vs Pahang match

JOHOR BARU: The Larkin Stadium is expected to be full to its brim tonight when Johor Darul Ta'zim takes on Pahang for the Charity Shield Cup. All 20,000 tickets were snapped up by noon.

Over thousand football fans queued at the Larkin Stadium here since the wee hours of this morning to grab tickets to the Charity Shield match.

It is learnt that online ticket were not made available to ensure that the 150 limited tickets for away fans, could be controlled.

There were no untoward incidents, as Johor Football Association’s management had taken precautionary measures, such as stationing police officers, and their marshals, to ensure crowd control.

The match will kick-off at 8.45pm.
