TELUK INTAN: A man died while his wife and three children were injured when the car they were in was involved in an accident with a tractor this afternoon.
The accident happened at Km 14 Jalan Teluk Intan - Chenderong Balai here.
Dasril Anshuar, 33, died at the scene after he was pinned to the driver's seat.
Hilir Perak district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the accident was believed to have happened when the tractor turned into the main road without realising the approaching Perodua Kancil.
"Police had to seek assistance from the fire and rescue department to extricate the man's body," he added.
