KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today had a walkabout at the Giant Kota Damansara in Petaling Jaya to see first-hand implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), which started today.
“Just arrived at Giant Kota Damansara for checks on the implementation of GST and its impact to the prices of goods,” he said in his Twitter account today.
He also said the prices of goods were reasonable for customers.
“I see the prices of goods sold here are reasonable and the zero-rated basic necessities are as stipulated by the government,” he later tweeted.
