SRI AMAN: A 35-year-old man was burnt to death after his wooden house was razed to the ground in Jalan Resak, Batang Lupar-Sri Aman here early today.
The charred remains of Joseph Edile was found inside the toilet in the 2.47am fire.
A Sri Aman Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said eight firemen in one engine rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call at 3am.
"We took about 10 minutes to control the fire," said the spokesman.
The body of the victim was handed over to the police.
