KUALA LUMPUR: Oppo Malaysia adds the phablet R7 Plus and R7 Lite to their line-up just in time for those looking to upgrade or switch smartphones in celebrating Hari Raya. Best of all they are priced at RM1,998 and RM1,298 respectively (GST included).
The highlight of the R7 Plus aside from its larger 6-inch screen is its longer lasting 4100mAh battery, faster charging VOOC flash charge, octa-core 1.5Ghz processor, and 3GB RAM. Both phones will come with the new ColorOS 2.1 in tandem with Android 5.1, 13-megapixel back camera with 8-megapixel front camera, and dual sim slots.
According to Oppo’s overseas brand director Katrina Li the company chose to bring in the Plus and Lite models (the Plus will only come in gold, while the Lite has an additional silver variant) for their broader market appeal. Currently there are no plans for the standard R7 model or if any other colour variants will be brought into the local market.
The phones will be available for pre-order and in stores this July 11, Sunday.
