RAWANG: A man and a woman were injured when an express bus veered off highway and rolled down a slope at KM436 of the North-South Expressway (southbound) near Sungai Buaya, here, at about 6.30am today.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohd Sani Harul said they received a call on the incident at 6.33am.
"A team of ten firemen with a fire engine, which was on standby at Rawang Toll Plaza for Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, was despatched to the scene.
“The team found three people trapped inside the bus and they managed to rescue the trapped victims,” he said.
Initial information received stated that the two victims suffered minor injuries, and were sent to the Sungai Buloh Hospital.
