DOHA: Qatar has strongly condemned violating the sanctity of Al Aqsa Mosque by Israeli police and settlers, deploring the constant aggressive practices by Israel in Jerusalem.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry said that the settlers’ breaking into Al Aqsa Mosque is a provocation of the feelings of millions of Muslims, reports Qatar News Agency (QNA).
Asking Israel to end “its evil and illegal actions” towards Al Aqsa Mosque, Qatar stressed that the ongoing Israeli violations of sanctities and worship houses will increase tension in the region. – BERNAMA
