HULU TERENGGANU: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi is in Terengganu today to open the delegates meeting of three Umno divisions in the state.
Zahid, who arrived at the Sultan Mahmud Airport here at 9am and was greeted on arrival by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman and state executive council members, will first open the Hulu Terengganu Umno delegates meeting.
It is held at the Construction Academy of Malaysia (ABM).
In the afternoon, Zahid, who is also Umno vice-president, will open the Marang UMNO delegates meeting at the Marang District Council Hall and then to the State Indoor Stadium in Kuala Terengganu to open the Kuala Terengganu Umno delegates meeting.
The deputy prime minister is scheduled to return to Kuala Lumpur at 6.30pm.--BERNAMA
