Tourist killed in accident to be cremated in Kelantan

BESUT: The 85-year-old tourist, who was killed in an accident, will be cremated at the Kelantan cremation centre this week.

District police chief Superintendent Khalid Che Lah said, the victim’s wife, Dorothy Ann Saunsbury, 65, whose currently receiving treatment at the Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (HUSM) had requested that the remains of her husband be cremated in Kelantan with the help of several relatives.

Last Thursday an Australian tourist identified only as Fennamore was killed when the motorcycle he and his wife were riding collided with a car near Kampung Lak Lok in Besut, Terengganu.

Khalid said the case was being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road and Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving and causing hurt.
