Former NSTP staff dies of heart attack

KUALA TERENGGANU: Former New Straits Times Press Terengganu sales and distribution manager Ghazali Abu Bakar died of a heart attack yesterday.

Ghazali, 68, complained of chest pains while he was having tea with several friends at a food stall in Wakaf Mempelam here.

He collapsed around midnight and was rushed to the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital, here.

Earlier, he attended a routine badminton game with friends at the Datuk Sulong badminton hall nearby.

Ghazali retired from his position at Kuala Terengganu branch in 2002.

He was burried at the Panji Alam Muslim cemetary at noon.
