BESUT: A bridegroom and three others were killed when a Perodua Viva they were travelling in collided head-on with an Isuzu D-Mex near Kampung Renek, in Jerteh, here today.
Another three passengers who were travelling in the Isuzu escaped unhurt in the crash which occured at KM93 Jalan Kuala Terengganu-Kelantan.
A witness said the Perodua Viva was heading towards Kampung Chalok in Setiu and lost control before skidding into the opposite lane.
The car then collided with the four wheel drive vehicle.
Meanwhile District police chief Superintendent Khalid Che Lah who confirmed the incident said the case was being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road and Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving and causing death.
