BUTTERWORTH: A 56-year-old man drowned after he jumped into the sea here in Pantai Bagan Ajam this afternoon.
Prai Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the search and rescue team managed to locate the body of Ooi Khoon Seng at 1.07pm today.
“We found his body about one nautical mile from the area where he was last seen,” he said.
He said the department received a distress call at 12.56pm and managed to locate the dead body with the help of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).
The body will be sent for post-mortem at Hospital Seberang Jaya.
