SEREMBAN: As an appreciation of civil servants’ performance, Negri Sembilan state government will distribute a RM500 token to its staff next month.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said the incentive will also be given to those working at state statutory bodies and local government departments.
"In 2014, all approved development projects had been implemented with a cost of RM88.53 million or 96.7 per cent of the total allocation.
"The RM3 million saved was from open tender and quotation process," he said in his opening speech when tabling the State Budget 2016 here today.
He said the decision was made to ease the burden of parents preparing their children for the new schooling session.
