PETALING JAYA: Legendary rock band Search celebrates its 35 years in the local music scene with a grand concert at Stadium Merdeka on April 9.
Entitled Search 35 Tahun, the concert is organised by Afjets Sdn Bhd.
Its chief executive officer Amrul Nizar Anuar said Search had become a household name amongst music lovers and an original Malaysian icon of rock who deserved a befitting 35th anniversary celebration.
"It'll be a concert that takes fans down memory lane via flashbacks of the band's most renowned shows over the years. Fans will also be kept spellbound by Search's greatest hits that will be delivered energetically by lead singer Amy," he told reporters at Redland Terminal Centre at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Airport here today.
Also present at the Press conference were members of Search and band members from Bunkface, Akim And The Majistret and Pita Hati, who will be the opening acts at the concert.
