GEORGE TOWN: A fire at an apartment’s parking lot here destroyed 38 motorcycles and three cars in Taman Jelutong early today.
Fortunately no one was injured in the 6.22am incident.
Jalan Perak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said all 38 motorcycles were damaged beyond repair.
Three cars, a Proton Saga, a Toyota Harrier and a Toyota Camry, suffered 10 per cent damage.
“Firemen managed to bring the flames under control by 6.50am, ” he said.
Police are still investigating the cause of the fire.
