PORT DICKSON: A family of four were left shaken after their house was destroyed in a fire at Kg Haji Yusof here, last night.
However no one was injured in the 11.40pm incident.
Teluk Kemang Fire and Rescue Department operation officer, Jamil Mohd Saleh said the station received a distress call at 11.43pm and arrived at the scene at around 12.03am.
"A team from the Rembau Fire and Rescue Department was also deployed to the scene. When we arrived, the house was almost 100 percent destroyed. A car which was parked near the house too also suffered 50 percent damage due to the fire," he said.
Jamil said the team took almost two hours to control the fire.
He said the department was still investigating the cause of the fire and losses incurred in the incident.
