Police on the hunt for Indonesian maid who abducted 12-year-old girl

SUBANG JAYA: Police are on the hunt for an Indonesian maid who allegedly abducted her disabled employer's daughter early today.

Subang Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohammad Azlin Sadari when contacted, confirmed the incident and said police were tracking down the woman, who is in her 20's, and the 12-year-old girl.

"The child's parents lodged a police report about 10am today. They said they found the girl missing when they were about to wake her up for school.

"The child also suffers from dyslexia. We urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of the two to contact the police immediately," he said, adding that the case has been classified as abduction.

The case was brought to the attention of the media after a Facebook user, Raja Mazurah Mikaish, related the incident on her Facebook account, and posted pictures of the maid and her niece, whom she referred to as Kyra.

According to her post, the Indonesian maid left the family's home in SS19 Subang Jaya, with the girl.

The maid also left a letter. Their disappearance was only realised about 5.30am.
