KUALA PILAH: A woman was badly injured after her car was rammed by a trailer at KM21 of Jalan Seremban-Kuala Pilah, near Taman Ulu Bendul, here yesterday.
Norhazrin Rosli, 25, was heading to Seremban from Kuala Pilah when the accident occurred around noon.
Kuala Pilah Fire and Rescue chief operating officer Adnan Yaacob said the department received the emergency call at 12.14pm and dispatched five personnel to the scene.
“The victim was stuck at the driver’s seat. We took about 20 minutes to bring her out. We also received assistance from the Malaysian Civil Defence Department during the rescue operation,” said Adnan.
He said, the victim was trying to make a U-turn when a trailer behind her bumped the car and dragged it for about 10 metres.
“She suffered injuries on her head and body and has been sent to Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital for treatment,” he said.
