KUALA TERENGGANU: Four suspects who assaulted a 52-year-old single mother, including scrubbing chili powder on her privates, will be charged at the Setiu magistrate's court this Sunday.
District police chief Deputy Superintendent Elias Abubakar said the suspects comprised a woman, her two sons and a daughter.
On Sunday, a 52-year-old single mother was beat up with a rubber hose, and had chili powder scrubbed onto her private parts in a bizarre assault case in Kampung Gong Tengah Dua, here.
The victim had received a visit at her home at 9pm and the four suspects, had shown up at her doorstep and demanded to talk to her and when she obliged, they bundled her into a pickup truck.
It was claimed that the woman was then beat up with a rubber hose in the truck by several people who also scrubbed chili powder onto her private parts.
She was later hospitalised for her injuries.
