KUANTAN: Indera Mahkota’s Umno division is ready to offer legal advice to Siti Suhaiza Seman, whose husband and daughter were killed in the Educational Innovation Motorsport Automotive Race (Eimarace) buggy accident on Sunday.
Its deputy chief Datuk Mazlan Mat Rashid said the matter was discussed yesterday during the division’s meeting.
"We are ready to help Suhaiza in terms of legal advice – however, we have to wait for the investigation by respective authorities to be completed first.
"We need to know the real cause of the unfortunate incident before we can help her," he told reporters after a football talent search for the "Million Dollar Feet" programme held here today.
Yesterday, Suhaiza had called for justice for her late husband, Izwan Isa, 39, and five year-old daughter, Nurzulaikha. They were killed after one of the competing vehicles veered off the track and ploughed into spectators during the race.
