TANJUNG PUTERI: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today paid tribute to his predecessor Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi for his foresight to initiate Iskandar Malaysia 10 years ago.
"Where credit is due, credit should be given.
"Above all, Pak Lah has shown how a former PM should behave.
"There is a hidden message there," he said to the applause of guests to the Iskandar Malaysia's 10th anniversary lunch at the Educity here.
Najib, who is also the joint chairman of Iskandar Malaysia, also thanked Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Othman for executing the proposal during his term as Johor Menteri Besar.
He also expressed satisfaction of the cooperation between the federal and state governments on Iskandar Malaysia.
