KUALA LUMPUR: Two Sarawak districts will be get new police chiefs effective Sept 18.
The Federal police, in a statement today said the current Bintulu police chief Superintendent Zailanni Amit has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner and will take over as the new Sibu police chief.
He is replacing Assistant Commissioner Saiful Bahari Abdullah who will retire next month.
Zailanni's post will be filled by Federal special task force for anti-vice, gaming and gangsterism (Intelligence/Operations) Deputy Superintendent Zulkipli Suhaili, with the rank of Superintendent.
