Police hunting for two men who brutalised a woman at Taman Sentosa Klang [NSTTV]

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are desperately looking for two men who were captured on video brutally beating a woman at Taman Sentosa, Klang, this morning before bundling her into a car and driving away.

A video of the incident has since gone viral. It was believed to have been taken by a resident of Klang Jaya Indistrial Area in Taman Sentosa and showed the men beating the victim mercilessly.

It is believed one of the men was the woman’s husband and the attack was sparked out of jealousy.

In the 9am incident, the man was seen hitting his wife with a parang besides punching and kicking her and she struggled to ward off the blows next to a Proton Satria.

The incident was also witnessed by several members of public including children who were at the vicinity.

After beating the victim, the man and his friend pulled her into the Satria before they fled the scene.

Southern Klang police chief Assistant Commissioner Shamsul Amar Ramli said efforts were on-going to trace the whereabouts of the suspects.

He said police had launched a hunt for the suspects after the woman’s father lodged a report.
