KAJANG: The report filed by Community Communications Department (J-KOM) assistant officer, Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani, at the Kajang police headquarters today, has revealed the identity of Mr H.
Wahab's lawyer, Faizal Abd Rahman, said they reported on the role of Mr H being the mastermind behind the recording of the lewd video call conversation between former J-KOM director-general, Datuk Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff and Wahab.
"Today we filed a police report against Mr H and Abdul Wahab as the complainant, providing full cooperation, including videos and several other additional matters.
"Of course, today's investigation took longer than yesterday (the recorded conversation at Bukit Aman), because yesterday Abdul Wahab attended as a witness, and today as the complainant," he said after completing the report at the Kajang police headquarters this afternoon.
Faizal said that the statement given during the media session on Nov 17 is the same, but the police investigation process is broader in scope. When asked if the investigation papers for this case would be handed over to the Attorney General's Chambers tomorrow, Faizal is satisfied and happy with the prompt police action in completing the investigation.
"I don't see why this investigation needs to take longer, and I am happy with the statement from the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), that the investigation into the case has been completed.
"Anyway, after examining all the facts, we believe that only Mr H is the true mastermind behind all this controversy," he said.
However, he informed the media that they could not disclose detailed information about Mr H's identity to the public until the matter is decided by the Attorney General's Chambers.
Earlier, the IGP, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, today confirmed that the defamation investigation involving Mohammad Agus and Abdul Wahab has been completed. Eight witnesses have already been called to give statements, and the investigation papers conducted by the Bukit Aman Classified Crime Investigation Unit will be handed over to the AttorneyGeneral's Chambers tomorrow.
Previously, a video conversation between Mohammad Agus and Abdul Wahab on Nov 16 before both men came forward to address the issue in a press conference a day later.
Mohammad Agus and Abdul Wahab claimed that the video conversation was intended to undermine Agus's credibility and was orchestrated by an individual known as Mr H.
