Police arrest three in relation to Sg Choh house murder

KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested two men and a woman suspected to be involved in a murder following a dispute between siblings at a house in Sungai Choh, Rawang last night.

Acting Gombak District Police Chief Superintendent Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir in a statement said the suspects arrested are aged 29, 32 and 33 years old respectively.

He said the initial investigation found that the victim was the boyfriend of one of the suspect's sisters and that the motive of the incident stemmed from a dispute between the victim and one of the suspects.

"The investigation is ongoing, and efforts to locate several individuals suspected to be involved are underway.

"The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code."

He said at 11.25pm yesterday police received a complaint from a 27-year-old local woman, stating that at around 11am, while at home, she heard disturbances from her neighbour's house.

"At 5pm, the complainant overheard a conversation between her neighbour's husband and brother-in-law requesting help to bury a body.

"Upon initial investigation, the police discovered the body of an unidentified local man buried in a hole in the bushes. The body was transported to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post-mortem examination."

Earlier today, it was reported that a dispute between two siblings is believed to have resulted in the murder of an individual.

The altercation reportedly started as a verbal argument before escalating into a physical brawl, ultimately causing the death.

In an attempt to conceal the incident, the suspect buried the victim's body behind their house.

The victim's body was discovered and retrieved by the police from the backyard around 5am today.
