KULAI: A 37-year-old man was found dead with an alcoholic beverage can next to him at the Kampung Jaya Sepakat bus stop here on Thursday.
District police chief Superintendent Tan Seng Lee said a passer-by alerted police of a shirtless man lying down motionless at the bus-stop at 8.18am.
Upon conducting checks on the victim, it was determined that he was dead.
His body was sent to the Temenggung Seri Maharaja Tun Ibrahim Hospital's forensic unit for a post mortem.
"We have classified the case as sudden death, as there is no foul-play suspected, however, the hospital's forensic report of the cause of death is pending," he said.
