SEREMBAN: A seven-year-old boy was killed in an accident involving a bus and two cars at KM271.7 of the North-South Highway here this evening.
In the 7pm incident near the Seremban rest area, the victim was said to have died on the spot due to severe head and body injuries.
According to a source, the accident occurred when an express bus rear-ended a car, carrying the victim and his family. It was yet unclear how the second car was involved in the crash.
The victim's parents and his two siblings were said to have suffered serious injuries and rushed to Tuanku Jaafar Hospital for treatment.
When contacted, Nilai deputy police chief Superintendent Azrul Hisham Mohd Shaffie confirmed the incident.
