Harvard Business School thanks Media Prima Digital for hosting students

KUALA LUMPUR: The Harvard Business School extended its appreciation to Media Prima Digital (MPD) for successfully hosting a team of its students who were provided with a real-world learning experience in Malaysia.

“We are extremely grateful to Media Prima Digital and all the FIELD global partner organisations for all they do on behalf of our students.

“The students benefit immeasurably from this experience and we hope the partner organisations do as well,” said FIELD faculty head Professor Juan Alacer.

Media Prima Digital hosted the students for a week as part of a required first year course at Harvard Business School called FIELD Global Immersion.

Media Prima Digital was one of 157 FIELD Global Partners, spanning across 14 countries around the world.

MPD CEO Rafiq Razali said the students were able to gather insights that they would never be able to glean from a classroom discussion alone.

The FIELD Global Immersion is a course designed to strengthen and develop students' global intelligence - their ability to manage and operate effectively across cultures and business contexts.

While here, the students pitched their ideas to the leadership team, conducted field research with consumers around Kuala Lumpur and presented their final recommendations to the management.

The students, who have been working closely with Media Prima Digital including during the months leading up to their arrival in Malaysia, also contributed ideas and input in preparation for Wanita app, touted as Malaysia's very first women fitness app, which was recently launched to the public.

Media Prima Digital is the digital arm of Malaysia's largest media conglomerate, Media Prima.
