SHAH ALAM: Over 17,000 civil servants in Selangor will receive two months’-worth of special financial assistance for the coming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
This was announced by Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali during the “Rapat Ramadhan Penjawat Awam Bersama YAB Dato' Menteri Besar Selangor” event held at the Dewan Jubli Perak auditorium this morning.
"The special financial assistance will be paid out on June 21. The amount totals RM63.3 million and will benefit 17,703 civil servants.
“This is to appreciate their excellent service, dedication and commitment in developing Selangor," said Azmin.
He also announced a brand new incentive that will be awarded to civil servants at the end of the year, which will be based on the performances of state agencies and departments.
Last year, civil servants in Selangor received 1.5 months’ worth of special financial assistance for Hari Raya.
